When people are looking for a new home, many are looking to Arizona. While a move to the desert may not be the first thing some think of, diving in to what Arizona holds may make you consider one of the fastest-growing regions in the country.

Scenery

Arizona is a destination for student pilots, as it has around 300 sunny days per year. While temperatures can hit 100 in Phoenix for a third of the year, it is a “dry heat,” and air conditioning abounds. Even in the summer, however, escape from the heat is less than an hour away at the Mogollon Rim. Extending for 200 miles through the middle of the state, “the Rim” brings lush Ponderosa forests, amazing scenery, hunting and fishing, and cooler temperatures.

Speaking of scenery, the Grand Canyon is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. the 277 mile-long canyon is up to a mile deep and up to 18 miles wide.  Other destinations include many locations you’ve seen in film and magazines: Sedona, Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, Jerome, Bisbee, Tombstone, Havasu Falls, and more.
